I Have had a fish tank for sometime now and I have only two angle fish and a couple of day ago i decided i wanted to put some Darf Gourami fish in so i went to the store and bought a male and a fat female (hoping that she was pregnant). I had doen a lot of studing and all the books said that the two fish would form a tight bond, and the two i have bought have not. Am i doing something worng? Also the female is very large. Is there a possibility that she is pregnant and just will not lay her eggs because i bought the wrong male?

u can put fairly nothing in to the tank to help.best solution is to get another tank for her. Be prepared, she will give birth to a few hundreds of eggs…

my dwarf gourami is full of eggs with no male in the tank, what can I put in the water to help her pass them without harming the other fish.

Build your tank around one male and two female gouramis, and it will be stunning. If you have a 30 gallon aquarium, you can also add a school of tropical fish and some corydoras, and you’ll have the perfect community aquarium.
